Institutional Membership

ACCD Institutional Members are the premier specialist providers of commercial diplomat training services with a reputation for delivery relevant to learning experiences. The learning approach draws upon and enhances Commercial diplomats' knowledge, skills, understanding and competency; and focuses on helping them improve commercial diplomats performance' and standards of professionalism in the boardroom.

Part of the Association's mission is to encourage high-quality graduate, professional education and training for practitioners and students pursuing careers in international trading system; multilateral trade negotiation; foreign investment policy and arbitration; development; international economic and commercial diplomacy; diplomatic affairs; international trade, investment, intellectual property and commercial arbitration fields. The Association admits to its membership only those institutions that satisfy the council and meet the standards set by the Association's Bylaws.

Considering Applications for Membership:

Applicants should carefully review the ACCD Membership criteria. Membership in the Association shall be open to those institutions which possess the following qualifications:

an educational programme of high academic quality;
a substantial and demonstrated commitment to the study of global trade, dispute settlement, international commercial arbitration, international economic and commercial diplomacy related subjects;
a basic commitment to graduate advanced, professional and executive training; and
significant autonomy within a major university, e.g., as one would expect to find with a graduate Business School or institution.
