Qualified Certified Diplomats follow a lifelong pursuit of continuing diplomatic education to achieve the highest level of Mastership in Commercial Diplomacy or PhD in related field, and to provide the highest quality of practice and professionalism. QCD accreditation symbolizes the uniqueness, competence and professional responsibility of certified commercial diplomats. The designation reminds commercial diplomats of the unique profession and to continue to learn new techniques for their professional practice.
QCD is a the highest professional educational qualification (accreditation) awarded only by ACCD upon completion of the Mastership in Commercial Diplomacy (QCD qualifying programme) or PhD in related field with significant proven practical professional experience. Every practitioner who applies for accreditation has their application reviewed by the Commercial Diplomacy Standards Board to assure that the high standards of the Professional Body are met.
When a commercial diplomat has achieved the Mastership in Commercial Diplomacy and awarded QCD, employers can be assured that their commercial diplomat is dedicated to providing the finest (doctoral level) service in his or her trained field. To date, substantial members of the Association have become Fellows and significant level have gone on to receive Mastership in Commercial Diplomacy and qualified for QCD award. ACCD is proud of all of its members who must take out hours of continuing diplomatic education/training for many years, and especially proud of its members who have made the commitment to pursue these distinguished awards and qualifications.
